thought...as much.

amidst fake smiles, carats and air kisses, there is a world you will not see.

there is a struggle you will not know

and

there are people you will look through

and all that,

is really quite okay...to each their own. 

but what i want to know is,

do you think...

of the number of times you scoffed at someone?

the times you gave cold glares?

the number of eyes you avoided?

the smiles you never shared?

...

..

.

you probably do not.

there is more to this than high heeled shoes.

but i'm guessing your not following.

'cause your head is too high above the ground

and the clicking of your shoes

is drowning out what's
